Empowering Youth to Become Problem Solvers, Not Just Job Seekers
Nitin Tailor, Founder of Serve Happiness Foundation, was invited to deliver a keynote address at the Department of Management Studies, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), Haryana. The inspiring session encouraged students to embrace social entrepreneurship, innovation, ethical leadership, and purpose-driven careers in an era of rapid technological transformation.
From Artificial Intelligence to Human Intelligence
Addressing students from diverse academic backgrounds, Nitin emphasized that while Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming industries worldwide, the greatest competitive advantage of human beings will always remain empathy, creativity, ethics, and the ability to solve real societal problems. He urged students to shift their mindset from becoming job seekers to problem solvers, using technology as a tool to improve lives and strengthen communities.
Social Entrepreneurship Journey
Drawing from his own journey—from a successful corporate career in information technology to founding Serve Happiness Foundation—he explained how purpose, service, and social entrepreneurship can create lasting impact. He encouraged students to measure success not only through financial achievements but also through the positive difference they make in society.
He emphasized that India’s villages are full of opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship and that young professionals can play a transformative role in building an Atmanirbhar Bharat by creating enterprises that generate both economic and social value.
Innovation Rooted in Values
The keynote highlighted the importance of value-based education, resilience, innovation, design thinking, and grassroots entrepreneurship. Nitin inspired students to identify challenges in rural India and develop sustainable solutions in sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, renewable energy, waste management, and livelihood generation.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
A major highlight of the session was the invitation extended to the students and faculty of SVSU to participate in the Narmada Prerna Yatra, an experiential learning initiative designed to connect participants with inspiring role models, grassroots organizations, rural entrepreneurs, and sustainable community initiatives.
Nitin explained that meaningful education extends beyond textbooks and classrooms. By interacting directly with changemakers working at the grassroots, students gain practical insights into leadership, innovation, sustainability, and nation-building. Such immersive experiences help develop empathy, resilience, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of India’s diverse social realities.
